lake anna quarter
Lake Anna is one of the largest freshwater inland lakes in Virginia, covering an area of 13,000 acres (53 km²), and located 72 miles (116 km) south of Washington, D.C. in Louisa and Spotsylvania counties (and partially in Orange County at the northern tips). The lake is easily accessible from Richmond and Charlottesville, and is one of the most popular recreational lakes in the state.

  1. This is not from Lake Anna in Virginia.
It is from the Trinity Alps region in California
    The coordinates are:
    +40° 55' 47.10" - 122° 52' 35.22".

Many people are claiming that it is in Virginia but Virginia just doesn't have the topography to create vistas like this. If you use Google Earth to search the coordinates you can see the group of trees near the center of the closest shore and almost recreate this photo by zooming and panning.
