വാളയാര്‍ പരമശിവം: പുതിയ തന്ത്രങ്ങളുമായി ദിലീപ്
ദിലീപ് ആരാധകര്‍ക്ക് സന്തോഷ വാര്‍ത്ത. ജനപ്രിയ നായകന്റെ സൂപ്പര്‍ഹിറ്റ് ചിത്രം റണ്‍വേയുടെ രണ്ടാം ഭാഗമായ 'വാളയാര്‍ പരമശിവം' നംവബര്‍ ആദ്യം ഷൂട്ടിങ് തുടങ്ങുന്നു. 'റണ്‍ ബേബി റണ്‍' പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയ ജോഷി അഞ്ച് ചിത്രങ്ങളുടെ സംരംഭമായ 'ഡി കമ്പനി'യിലെ മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ പണിപ്പുരയിലാണിപ്പോള്‍. ഈ ഹ്രസ്വചിത്രം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയാലുടന്‍ വാളയാര്‍ പരമശിവത്തിന്റെ ജോലികള്‍ തുടങ്ങും.
കഥയുടെ കാര്യം ഏറക്കുറേ തീരുമാനമായിക്കഴിഞ്ഞ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ രചനയിലേക്ക് ഉദയ് കൃഷ്ണ-സിബി.കെ തോമസ് ടീം കടന്നു. 2004ല്‍ റിലീസ് ചെയ്ത റണ്‍വേ ദിലീപിന്റെ ആക്ഷന്‍ പരിവേഷം ജനങ്ങള്‍ സ്വീകരിച്ച ചിത്രം കൂടിയായിരുന്നു. ഗ്രാന്‍ഡ് പ്രൊഡക്ഷന്‍സ് തന്നെയാകും ചിത്രം നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുക. 2013 ല്‍ മറ്റൊരു സൂപ്പര്‍ഹിറ്റ് ചിത്രമായ സി.ഐ.ഡി മൂസയുടെ രണ്ടാം ഭാഗവും പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാം.

Jism 2 fails to break Murder 2, Jannat 2 record at Box Office
Sunny Leone's debut Bollywood movie Jism 2 has done a decent business at the Indian Box Office. The movie has collected approximately Rs 21 crores nett at the collection centres. But Pooja Bhatt directed movie has failed to break the first weekend collection record of Mahesh Bhatt's previous releases Murder 2 and Jannat 2, which had raked in Rs 22 crores and Rs 23 crores nett, respectively.
Jism 2 registered 50% to 65% occupancy in its paidpreviews on Thursday and collected approximately Rs 1 crore on this Raksha Bandhan holiday. The Sunny Leone-Randeep Hooda starrer movie enjoyed the same amount of occupancy on Friday too. It collected Rs 7.5 crores nett on the first day of its release. Its first day business was better than that of Murder 2 (Rs 7.1 crore), but it was lesser than that of Jannat 2 (Rs 8.52 crore).
Usually Mahesh Bhatt's movies will get a good opening at the Box Office and that is due to the initial hype, but their business subsequently go down on the second day. The collection of Murder 2 andJannat 2 had gone down on the second day. Like them, Jism 2 slipped considerably on Saturday and collected Rs 6.3 crore nett.
Both Murder 2 and Jannat 2 had done goodbusiness on the third day with their collection reaching Rs 9 crore and Rs 8.61 crore, respectively. Whereas, the business of Jism 2 also witnessed improvement on Sunday, but it was not up to their level. On the third day, the movie collected approximately Rs 7 crore, which is lesser than its first day collection.
However, Jism 2 makers had a huge promotion for the movie prior to its release. Sunny Leone's skin show and music are the major attractions of the film. But it received negative reviews from film critics for its lacklustre screenplay and sluggish pace. Besides this, it garnered bad word of mouth, which spread on social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook and resulted in average collection.

There is not much literature on Friendship Day history as we celebrate today. However, there are numerous folktales and several instance in mythological legends that shows that friends and friendship have been valued since the beginning of civilized world. As an intrinsically social creature, men love to make friends to further this process of socialization.

The United States Congress, in 1935, proclaimed first Sunday of August as the National Friendship Day. Since then, celebration of National Friendship Day became an annual event. The noble idea of honoring the beautiful relationship of friendship caught on with the people and soon Friendship Day became a hugely popular festival.
Following the popularity and success of Friendship Day in US, several other countries adopted the tradition of dedicating a day to friends. Today, Friendship Day is enthusiastically celebrated by several countries across the world including India.
In 1997, the United Nations named Winnie - the Pooh as the world's Ambassador of Friendship.

Saina Nehwal loses; still in hunt for bronze
The world #1 Wang Yihan of China outplayed India's Saina Nehwal to beat 21-13, 21-13 in the semifinals of women's badminton singles match at the London Olympics 2012 on Friday.
It has been a disappointing day at the office for Saina Nehwal. She had her brief moments but that was it. Nothing worked for her today. Yihan, on the other hand was at her murderous best. She dished out attacking stuff and used her height to get some great court coverage. With the defeat, Saina is now out of reckoning for a Gold or Silver medal but is very much alive as far as the Bronze is concerned. She will be playing another Chinese for the bronze medal. Whether it is Wang Xin or Li Xuerui, we will know in some time.

Saina Nehwal sails through to the semi-final
No.4 seed Saina Nehwal of India dispatched Tina Baun of Denmark 21-15, 22-20 to reach the semi-final of the women’s singles badminton event. The first game lasted 16 minutes and the second game 21 minutes.

Indonesia versus Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia. Wow. That will not be easy.
